Greg C. Oakland City, Indiana. May, 2011.
He saw us down the road stopping to make some adjustments to our bikes and when we pulled up to him he flagged us down from his riding lawn mower and said “Well, I saw you down the road there and I said to myself, if they come down this way I’m going to say howdy! So… Howdy!”
He’s a coal miner in Oakland City, IN. He invited us to get water and he and his wife gave us pizza leftovers from the pizza buffet that she works at.
Elliott, Christian and conspiracy theorist. Key Largo, Florida. March 2014.
I rode over to the Dennys where he was sipping his coffee on the front steps and asked which way he was going. He said that he was coming from Key West back to the mainland, but just then he had been thinking about going back to Key West. His name was Elliott. He left Seattle a few months ago after catching a ride in a circus bus and had been riding his bike around Florida for a while. Because he had spent all night riding his bike over 100 miles the night before, he had taken a nap at a swimming hole just a little bit up the road and he said it would be a great place to camp. We rode there together and it really was a fantastic camp spot.
I pitched my tent while he unloaded his and I cooked dinner - fried eggs and whatever was in the bottom of my pot - while he carefully constructed his tent and bedding. Soon I was hearing the true history of civilization. Demons falling from heaven and mating with humans, weather machines, how the Catholics stole hundreds of thousands of babies and sold them, and of PSYOPS and chemtrails. Fantastic and game-changing. He told me that Facebook is glitchy for him because of all the conspiracy-related things that he posts. It is a part of PSYOPS to make him not want to use the site.
